Creating
Stories in DVDSP
A
Story is a collection of Markers used to assembling
different pieces of your video together. This is the main way to assemble different
points in your assets together into a new movie.
Each Track can have up to 99 Stories in it.
Once you’ve created a Story, it will appear in your project’s End
Jump drop-down box in the Inspector menu.
Stories are track-based, meaning that you can only create a Story with media that’s in the same track. Only Chapter Markers can be added to stories. The way to mix content from different tracks is by linking different stories together.
Use the Story
Editor to create stories by adding and arranging markers. The Story
Editor is divided into two halves: the Source List and
the Entry List. The Source List will display all the markers
that exist in the Track that you have selected. The Entry list is a list of
the Markers arranged in the order that you want them to play.

The Story will start playing at the Marker and
automatically play the next Marker in the Story list. You can drag as many Markers
as you need into the Stories Entry List. DVDSP will always
automatically stop after the last Marker in the list when it
encounters the next Marker in the track.

the project element you want to go to when the story is done.
Linking to Another Set of Stories
If you want to jump from media in one track to media in another track, you do
this by linking the stories to one another End Jump drop-down.
