1. Create a New Project. File>New Project

2. Import files into Asset bin. You should encode your video and audio before you bring them in.

File>Import>name of files or folder

3. Create and edit Menus (order can be switched with Step #4)

Create:
layered (no sound or motion)
or
highlight menu

Create hotspots for buttons

Set selected and activated states for layered menus
or
colors for overlay menus

Program hotspot/button links (where do they go to?)

Check button links/navigation (left, right, top, bottom)

4. Create Tracks

Add video files and audio files.

Add Markers and Stories if you need them.

Program End Jumps and links for tracks (where do they go to?)

5. Add Slideshows, Subtitles, Scripts

6 . Program your Startup Action: First Play (from Outline View)

7. Check all links again (does everything link to something else when it's over?)

8. Program Navigation Properties (Remote control) for Disc and Menus

9. Multiplex DVD (Build and Burn)
