The goal is to create a new DVDSP project, import the more complex layered menu that I provide, put on hot spots and name them.

1. You should have already copied the folder 002 Layered Menu Files to a local folder on your hard drive.

2. Open up a new DVDSP project and import the silkroadnoflat.psd file from the menu1b folder. Name your disk. Set a First Play action to play this menu.

3. Create a Layered menu.

4. Draw buttons (hotspots). Name your buttons.

5. Program the selected and activated states. You may have to open this file in Photoshop to understand how to program it in DVDSP.

5. Programs the layers for the selected and activated states.

6. Program an order for the buttons.

7. Save the Project on the server as 002menu1b in a folder that has your name in Student Files.
