The goal is to create a new DVDSP project, import the layered menu, program the layeres for the selected and activated states and put on hot spots.

1. Copy the 002 Layered Menu Files folder to a local folder on your hard drive. You will need to log on to the server Scarlett and go to the M133 folder> 002 Layered Menu Files on the network. The logon is m133 and the password is brownbee.

2. Open up DVDSP and import the assets from the menu1a folder, which is inside the 002 Layered Menu Files folder. Name your disk. Set a First Play action to play the menu.

3. Create a Layered menu.

4. Draw buttons (hotspots). Name your buttons.

5. Program the selected and activated states according to today's lesson. You may need to open up the file in Photoshop to understand how to program it correctly.

6 . Program an order for the buttons.

7. Save the DVDSP project as 002menu1a on the server in Student Files in a folder with your name (which you will have to create).
